Formative Ceramic Arts Using Inlaying Technique

​

The line is one of the formative elements that make up object and is an important means of expressing shape. Line in nature does not an visually important role, but it demonstrates an extremely important role when drawing or crafting art work. Line is the direction or path of moving dot and its length itself possesses unique characteristics. Thus the ever-changing line is a sufficiently attractive element to express human emotion.

I used inlay one of the traditional Korean techniques to create ceramic works based on contemporary senses and techniques. It focuses on creating beautiful ceramic works with high quality by reflecting Korean emotions in the works.

선은 사물을 구성하는 조형요소 중 하나로 형상을 표현하는 중요한 수단입니다. 자연에서 선은 시각적으로 중요한 역할을 하지 않지만, 그림을 그리거나 미술 작품을 만들 때 매우 중요한 역할을 합니다. 선은 점이 움직이는 방향이나 경로이며, 길이 자체도 독특한 특성을 가지고 있습니다. 따라서 끊임없이 변화하는 선은 인간의 감정을 표현하기에 충분히 매력적인 요소입니다.

저는 한국의 전통 기법 중 하나 인 상감을 사용하여 현대적 감각과 기법을 바탕으로 도자기 작품을 만들고 있습니다. 한국의 정서를 작품에 반영하여 고품질의 아름다운 도자기 작품을 만드는 데 중점을 두고 작업을 하고 있습니다.
